Using social network sites other then facebook ?

I've heard a lot about alumni offices using facebook to reach out to young alums in the last year. Other then facebook has anyone done anything with any of the other social networking sites out their (i.e. bebo, linkedin, plaxo, secondlife, etc ... )?
